I am not defending the activities of any group, and the media is only doing its job reporting these things, but FOR THE LOVE OF GOD why cant journalists EVER get it right? Why do they always refer to hazing incidents as 'initiations.' Why cant they differentiate between the two? When they call it an initiation it makes it sound like every goup has to do it to get in.

When journalists get things liek this wrong, it really makes me wonder what else they often get wrong and everyone accepts as fact.

UGH.

I saw this on the local news, and they spoke to some students at Montclair State including a sorority sister. I cannot quote her, but she said that this is not what greek life is about. We're all about doing good for our campus.

Ugh, I already have a headache from having to take a ton of work home with me tonight to prepare for our audit Friday. So of course this just made my head hurt more when I saw this story on the news earlier. Wonderful, more bad press for Greeks.
