DELTA PHI EPSILON SORORITY is seeking a Communications & Collegiate Development Director to work at the International Headquarters in St. Louis, MO. This position is primarily responsible for coordinating the communications and marketing of the sorority, and providing resources and support to chapters and collegiate members. This person will serve as the direct liaison to the Director of Communications, Website Coordinator, TRIAD Editor, Director of Collegiate Development, and Director of Community & Personal Enrichment. The Communications & Collegiate Development Director will also work in conjunction with alumnae volunteers to review and update all sorority publications, including manuals, newsletters, and the international magazine TRIAD. Additional responsibilities include the development of programming in the areas of officer training, membership development, service, and chapter operations, and overseeing all new member activities. Specific responsibilities include: - Provide direct staff support to the Director of Communications, Website Coordinator, TRIAD Editor, Director of Collegiate Development, and Director of Community & Personal Enrichment. - Manage production of TRIAD, including laying out issues, contributing articles, and editing text, content, and design. Maintain relationship with design and printing vendors. - Design, organize, and place orders for academic planners. - Coordinate the creation of sorority publications. Assist with formatting newsletters, brochures, and manuals to ensure documents are professional and appealing. - Coordinate updates to the international website with the Website Team. - Oversee public relations, including the distribution of pertinent press releases to our constituents and promoting achievements of the sorority and its members. - Coordinate the creation and maintenance of materials to assist with marketing our organization to potential new members. - Market Delta Phi Epsilon products available through our officially licensed vendors. Maintain relationships with officially licensed vendors. - Coordinate maintenance of membership database. - Assist in the development of collegiate programming for Convention and District Leadership Conferences. - Coordinate the implementation and ongoing evaluation of Team Excellence. - Coordinate the implementation of the Foundations Program. - Manage all aspects of the PEARL Program and New Member Orientation. - Assist with community service, philanthropy, and citizenship education and initiatives. - Travel as necessary to chapters. - Other duties as assigned. Qualifications include: - Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, or related field. - 2-4 years experience in communications, public relations, marketing, or related field. - Knowledge of Microsoft Access and HTML preferred. - Ability to work independently. - Experience working in a higher education setting preferred.
