$5 grab bag gift?
 

So i'm meeting the bf's family on Sunday. Since his sister and her family are in town now and won't be for Christmas, they're doing a grab bag now (guess theyp lay some crazy game with it)
Anybody have some suggestions for cool $5 gifts? I want to try to be unisex, nothing too wild, etc.

Maybe try a nice thing of hot chocolate or coffee. Or a gift certificate to a department store or a music store. Is it a yankee swap or whatnot (I forget the exact name)? Some of sisters were telling me about it, they said it can get pretty intense lol.

i also thought of maybe getting the gift card too.

I have no idea how it works, sounds competitive, so probably similar to whatever this yankee swap thing is

A Yankee swap is when you pick numbers out of a hat. The person that gets #1 gets to go first and picks and opens whatever gift they want. Then #2 opens a gift and has a choice to keep that gift or trade it for #1's gift. #3 can trade with #'s 1 and 2, etc. Then after the last person goes, #1 gets to go again and trade for anyone else's gift.

A $5 gift card for Starbucks
You can burn a CD of Christmas songs if you have a CD burner
A disposable camera
A scrapbook/photo album
Pretty Christmas tree ornaments
A box of chocolate or candy
A paperback book
