being single in college sucks IMO

Yeah but having a boyfriend isn't the answer to all life's problems either..........It's good to have time to yourself while you can.

I broke up with my boyfriend before going to school.. just so that I would be single. I wanted to make sure that I did my own thing.

I spent sometime in a relationship for a while and some of the time not in one, both were good. I like being in a relationship, but I loved being able to go out whenever, meet new people, and stuff.

I had a boyfriend my entire freshman yea rand it sucked. I didn't meet nearly as many people because I was with him or on the phone with him 24/7.

My sophmore year I was single and it was soooooo fun. Just go out with your girls and get crazy. Make out with random guys. Makeout with everyone.

While it may seem everyone is happily paired off in coupledom while in college, the reverse is actually true. Take college as an opportunity to dabble in dating different types and indulging in new activities to meet people like going to the student gym, joining a campus club outside of Greek Life, etc. You never know who you will meet and the more you busy yourself, the happier and more productive you'll be-- Mr./Miss Right should compliment who you are, and not be the total source of your happiness! So enjoy the dating banquet that is college, but above all, have fun and enjoy being YOU!

Look at it this way, right now you can go off and enjoy being a hoebag without having to cover your tracks for your woman.

Enjoy being young and not having a care in the world.

Man, I was single almost all of college ---by choice--and I loved it. I went out every night and I had so many friends because I was always meeting new people.

On the flip side, I'm in a 3 year relationship and I'm in college. Never broke up even after I moved away for school. It has worked out so far (crosses fingers) and I've still met a lot of people. It's not so bad, really.

I had girlfriends my first three years of college.

I regret it looking back, but I'm more than making up for it now. I had fun....but if I could do it over again I definitly would not have a girlfriend. I missed out on so many opportunities and held myself back way too many times.

Don't get serious at least until you are like....thirty.

I agree that's its a good idea to take advantage of the freedom you have now.

However, I think if you meet someone you KNOW you would never want to lose, dont let them go just because everyone else says this is the time to be hooking up with every other guy ( or girl).

I met a guy that I couldnt imagine leaving him for anyone else, and at this point I know that theres no point in dating other people, just because I'd be looking for something I already have.
