For some reason I get along with about two or three of the guys on here. I'm not too impressed with most of em, and I know there are those who agree.

definelty not a bad thing, just something ive noticed.

I've been on GC for almost 4 years now and it's always been majority women, IMO.

We've got loads of registered male users, so I don't understand why we don't have more of them posting.

i must say i love the ladies, and there are a good amount of guys here too, just take a peak at the hazing forum, then you'll notice them

Hazing/RM, News & Politics, and Entertainment (sports and shit) is where I notice them.

Well, I think (understandably) they don't have much to say in some of our busier forums, like Recruitment (with 8 billion rush stories) and Chit Chat (with 4 seperate threads devoted each to purses, shoes, shopping at specific stores, etc.) and so our boy posters get buried under our girl posters.

We've got some pretty decent guys with some very worthwhile things to say, though.

OH. Also, don't fall into the trap I fell into -- thinking you can tell the gender of the poster by the name. ESPECIALLY when you're new and don't know by heart which groups are men's fraternities and which groups are women's fraternities or sororities. Some of the names are tricky, though -- I thought Dionysus was a boy for the longest time, lifesaver a girl, Valkyrie a boy. After reading enough of their posts, of course, I figured it out.

Yes... I'm one of the so-called 'endangered species' on GC - the male poster! :D To add to that, along with DeltAlum, Tom Earp and a few others, I'm part of the exclusive club of 'old, grizzled and curmudgeonly alumni GC members'... ;) :D :p

Every once in a while some newbie will confuse me for a female thinking that the 'AlphaSig' in my user name must mean I'm a member of Alpha Sigma Alpha. Nope... I'm a member of Alpha Sigma Phi, which is MUCH older than ASA! ;) ;) :D

I too am one of those "endangered" males, older, alumni, not grizzled (I think, yet I could be delusional) posters. I'm also a campus Greek Advisor. A lot of people think Phi Sig means Phi Sigma Sigma (and on some campuses it does), but in my case, it means Phi Sigma Kappa.

There are quite a few guys on here...if you look a bit you'll find some, and there's a group of us who post quite a bit on here.

Most of the people who post in Greek Life are women, but quite a few men post in the chit chat forums.

I'd also say most of us elicit strong feelings from people, both good and bad.
