Sorority Recruitment for 2005

Hey everyone. I am a part of recruitment team for this upcoming year and I am also formal recruitment chair. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas for fun things to do with pnm's for informal recruitment events or for formal recruitment parties. If you've done any skits that work well, had any parties that went over well, etc. I am just trying to look for some help since our recruitment will be changing....... If you could leave a message I would really appreciate it. For formal recruitment none of our sororities have houses so we have CPC night where no one knows which sorority you are in, we have informational night (we need something to make it more interesting), we have skit night, we have one night where we can do something on campus, and we have pref night that is already taken care of. If you have any ideas or suggestions, I would truly appreciate it!

Welcome to GC Brit. I don't know what you're looking for, but did you try doing a search? There are a lot of old posts here about recruitment ideas, shirt sayings, themes, etc.

Do you want to give a better description of what each night is. I would love to give some help, but every campus is different. My campus' informational night is called 'BRAG NIGHT'. We set up tables for each event we've had and put their shirts on the wall above them. Then we hae a table with shirts and other stuff that represent activities that the sister are invovled on campus besides the sorority. We hang up all kinds of pictures all over the walls and are allowed to sing songs without props (so it cant be a skit). We also show a video with pictures of us throughout the year. This is, of course, during Formal recruitment.
Anyway...like I said give us a description of what is already done on your campus. It doesn't have to be only your chapter. What id working for the other chapters?
Also this day where you can do anything on campus sounds interesting! I would ove to hear more about it. Does everybody just give tours or is it like a game thing (Hide and Seek in the Square ... my chapter did that one year it was the most FUN). Or do you take the girls to a student event?
