____Mr. Buckley, son of retired conservative icon William F. Buckley, won the prize for "No Way to Treat a First Lady," which spoofs the trouble-prone marriage of former President Bill Clinton and former first lady Hillary Rodham Clinton.
____"I read it quickly, [convulsed] with delight, pulled through by the wit and invention of the satire, amazed at the wealth of detail," prize judge Andrew Hudgins said, according to AP.
____The Thurber award, named for the late humorist and cartoonist James Thurber, is worth $5,000. Previous winners include Ian Frazier's "Coyote vs. Acme" and David Sedaris' "Me Talk Pretty One Day."
