I'm not feeling the title at all...but perhaps the show will be a step in liberating gay black men and shedding light on a "taboo" subject.

It is. :) I'm still not feelin the Bible (and other religious texts) reference.

Gay black men have been a staple in black churches for ages. I kind of like the double entendre of the name, because it pays hommage to something that is a huge tradition in black communities, irrespective of sexual orientation.

the last paragraph of the article was telling. enough for me to check it out but w/modest expectations. i'm a QAF fan so it'll be different to see things from a Black perspective but i do hope it's about something...
