Carville's prediction

Left-wing columnist Arianna Huffington tells this interesting story:

Twelve days before the election, James Carville stood in a Beverly Hills living room surrounded by two generations of Hollywood stars. After being introduced by Sen. John Kerry's daughter, Alexandra, he told the room--confidently, almost cockily--that the election was in the bag.

"If we can't win this damn election," the advisor to the Kerry campaign said, "with a Democratic Party more unified than ever before, with us having raised as much money as the Republicans, with 55 percent of the country believing we're heading in the wrong direction, with our candidate having won all three debates, and with our side being more passionate about the outcome than theirs -- if we can't win this one, then we can't win sh--! And we need to completely rethink the Democratic Party."

There are times that I agree with Arianna Huffington!

I thought that Arianna Huffington was conservative. Has she changed that much since her ex ran for office? I haven't seen her or read her work in several years.

Yes, she's gotten much more liberal. She also ran for Governor of Cali against Arnold. She almost never makes sense, and I read this column in its entirety. She is among the sheep bleating about the loss and lashing out at everyone.

She's a silly person whom I expect will become less and less relevant in the next few years.

Regarding Carville, he's a mean spirited little redneck who got left at the station. It's amazing what you can come up with when you drag a $100 bill through a Louisiana trailer park. (I love to paraphrase his statement about Paula Jones. It cuts both ways Jimbo)

I think that she went off the deep end when her marriage publicly ended.

regardless of his political opinions, James Carville freaks me out. He looks like an E.T. or the long lost son of the Heaven's Gate guy.

I'd love to work with Carville or his wife.
