Stupid question

Can you have a minor in post-grad study? Somebody claimed that he had a minor when he was studying for his Master. This is the first time I have ever herd of a Master program having a minor. I know of people doing dual degrees, but never a minor. Does this exist?

I had a CONCENTRATION when I was in grad school, not a "minor" though.

Same with me, I also had a concentration. The dude was trying to convince us all that he majored in IR and had a minor in economic during his Master studies. I think he's full of crap.

Actually, I have heard of this. My main concentration is American History, and minor concentration is Public history. Some schools do it differently I guess.

I have heard of it... some Masters programs require to take a minor "concentration" of supporting courses... so the IR program might require you to choose - economics, a language, religion, or history - all to support the program you are in.
