Thank you everyone for the happy birthday's. I do appreciate it and it did help brighten my mood.

My boyfriend decided to be a big jerk face and not really do anything for me for my birthday. My birthday is a really big deal to me because I'm adopted. He doesn't understand it but last night I think he really got the point.

We've been together for 3 years and I never made a big deal about my birthday until this year. In the past, we were struggling financially so I didn't want to make a big deal since we were broke. So, he's trying to understand everything a little more and I'm trying to understand him a little more.

Things are getting better - I went home from work at about 1:30 yesterday and went to the mall to get my nails done and do some shopping. That helped make me feel better. :D
