Red Light Cameras
.
|
Two years ago the cameras flashed at my car. I have a florida plate so maybe they were to lazy to research to send me a ticket. But if you do happen to recieve a citation in the mail, as several of my friends have, you can dispute it. Unless one of the pictures has a clear view of you they can not prove that it was you driving at that moment.

I've never gotten one but a few friends have, the ones in Maryland are very detailed. I was pretty amazed. There's one at an intersection on my way to work, I sit in the left turn lane and watch people run it all the time. One morning 4 people all went through and had their pictures taken.

I have ran a few in charlotte and never gotten anything about it. My friend says that they run out of film really quick and are not replaced.
The worst thing is you pay the $50. My friend's dad got all kinds of freebies (coffee mug, t shirt) when he ran one, but it was right when they came out. I think you can appeal your ticket and explain the situation |
If you rent a car identical to the car of the person you are framing for murder, make sure you dont park where a redlight camera will show your car in the background of photos (Law & Order: SVU)

We have them where I live but it's more than just cameras, it actually is a video so a cop will review each incident & so a ticket isn't always issued. So maybe you won't get one.

How about we just call you lucky that you didn't cause an accident? Not sure if there is a turning lane there but a small catering truck pulled the same thing (whipping around) and almost killed one of my chapter sisters. Thank God she didn't have a passenger. If you saw her mangled car, maybe you'd think twice about driving irresponsibly.

Sorry, didn't mean to be so harsh. I just absolutely hate bad drivers, especially slow ones when they cut you off. I understand your point.
