Houston Alumnae
 

Yay! so I've heard from the Alumnae Director, and an alum that lives in houston that used to be on nationals. We want to get the Houston chapter up and moving again! I'm so excited. I'm thinking the 2nd week in December, kind of in between the holidays. Maybe we'll jsut meet at a resturant as a meet and greet. I'd love to see the chapter get more involved in the community! I'm so excited. does anyone have an suggestions for meeting locations, activities., etc. Also, if you're in the Houston area, let me know;-)

That's great news... I knew there were quite a few alumnae in the Houston area! Now if I can just find some in Dallas...

YOu know I'm sure there are some! Email Laura Cegla-Williams, i think thats how you spell it. You can find her info on the national website, and she can work with you on getting a list of alumnae in the area!! That would be cool!!! Yay Texas alum!!

There's an Alpha Gamma alum in Fort Worth I believe....Brasko knows her contact info (I don't think she's on the ASTAR group).

well i'm actually in san antonio and a member of the beta theta chapter. but my hometown in houston. i never knew there was a chapter in houston, but i guess it just went inactive. if and when i graduate, hopefully this coming may, i can become an active alum in helping the chapter there in houston get a new lease on life. if you ever want to do over here in san antonio please feel free to contact me. i'm the recruitment director and i'm sorry that we got back to you so late for founders day!

Actually, since I graduated and returned to Houston in 2002 I've been trying to get in touch with your chapter (since I knew ya'll were only a few hours away), I think I even spoke with one of your old advisors, but no one was every very responsive to having me come out and help with Rush or anything. I really would love to come and help with formal recruitment, I'd love to see y'all be the largest chapter on campus again!!!
