How big is your chapter?
This is for locals/ regionals only. I am just curious as to how many ladies or gentlemen are in your chapter? I am curious as to how many actives and new members.
edited because this question is not posted for NPC, NIC, or NPHC groups. That info is easy to look up. |
we have about 15 girls, im not sure exactly are active right now.
definetly the smallest chapter on campus |
We have 27 girls now.

Err...nevermind.
Oh, damn, I didn't see that this was on the locals board...I just saw the title and started to post away. http://www.brentroad.com/images/beatup.gif. |
17 at the moment! Smallest, but I'd like to think of it as quality, not quantity.

We have 41 now that this falls pledge class has been brothered in. When we broke with our national in 2000 and were rechartered (its a miracle the school did this) in order to survive combined with a switch to sophomore rush quickly brought numbers down to i think 26.

We had quite a bit of girls graduate and last spring we cancelled our pledge class. This semester we took in 4 girls.
So we have 13 girls...definetely small, but so is the school. And like PhoenixAzul said it's quality not quantity. |
Active Members
Sigma Psi Kappa was founded in 1992 so we're quite young. We have initiated 69 sisters 3 of whom are honorary members (mothers and advisors)
We based at NJIT...25% female...so sororities have between 6-25 members. We have 19 active this semester. |
If I'm counting correctly we have 12 active sister now. Well 13 if you count myself, I'm In-Active but I still do more work in and out of the sorority then some of the actives go figure
|
Right now, we have 36 activies, and after greek week this spring, we'll probably have 15 more pledges. We're the biggest sorority on campus. There is a frat here with 6 members, and they are on probation.. If they don't get their numbers up, they'll no longer be a frat :( Sad b/c they're the oldest frat on campus..

We have 32 sisters and 14 pledges at the moment. We're looking to bid a few more girls farther into the semester so at the end of the se mester we'll be at 50, the cap for sororities.

were at 22 right now which is exactly where we want to be. well almost. after 30 we think we will be too big, so were trying to stay between 20 and 30.
just a little thing for those who think bigger is better. my sorority advisor owns a bar in ypsi and they host parties for u of m sororities. last weekend, a sorority from u of m had a party there and when everyone was getting ready to leave, one of the girls from the sorority came up to one of the girls who works at the bar and was like "come on, we have to get on the bus now". the worker just looked at her and said "hunny, im not in your sorority!" |
This is my first time posting, so I thought I'd try this thread. I'm the President of a local sorority at SMSU. We're at 77 members right now; that's 59 actives and 18 new members. We've been as large as 80 and as small as 23(when we began), but I'm hoping to increase those numbers even more in the fall.
Looking forward to learning lots with this site!!! |
At one time when I was active right before pledging we were down to just having one of my pledge sisters and myself. But now I'm an alumni and I believe there is 9 activies currently and 3 on campus that are under alumni status.
