Founders Day!
 

What is everyone doing for Founder's Day? All of the NC chapters gathered together at Wake Forest to celebrate Founder's Day today. Sarah Coons-Lindsay was our guest speaker, and she was awesome. The only bummer was that Elon didn't stand during roll call since we are not installed yet. But it was a wonderful ceremony :)

The LI Alumni Chapter had our Founder's Day dinner on Monday at the New Hyde Park Inn with the Alpha Alpha chapter. Our guest speaker was from Friends of Karen, our local philanthropy. We had some raffles and had a great time. I got to read roll call! We had 8 chapters represented. Not bad for us. The only sad part was that we didn't have a candle pass this year. My first Founders Day without one.

This weekend 11/13, my Alumnae Chapter will be celebrating Founder's Day. I think its going to be a very quite brunch ceremony. I'm in charge of mini sandwhiches. I was debating how much it would cost me to buy a tray of mini sandwiches.

Next weekend, my collegeic chapter will be holding initiation/founders day/alumnae day...and I will be heading down for that. Unfortantly, I won't be able to make it for initaion- I have to work in the morning:(
