The Movie about Ray Charles
Well sorhors and friends,
My grad chapter- Eta Iota Sigma and family will be attending the Ray Charles movie after our chapter meeting today. I will have to let you good folks know how everything went after we partake of this wonderful little bonding event. The chapter also has an Aurora Literary Circle and we are reading the book The Bluest Eye by Toni Morrison. We are going to share the book on November 20, 2004. We also have Sigma Buddies and we hang out with a sorhor and do social events for the entire sorority year. These are just a few activities our committee has set up for the chapter. I love my grad chapter. Serioussigma22:cool: |
WOW!!
That is good that your grad chapter does things together like that!! Send me some advice on how to get my grad chapter involved in some things!! LOL!
I saw the movie Ray last night. I don't want to spoil it for you, but it was a great movie with a lot of insight about his life! It was soooo beautiful!!! You will really enjoy it! The money is worth it!! |
Sisterfriend,
It was so crowded that I wasn't able to get in! Most of the members of my chapter got tickets, however, the lines were so long that several of us couldn't get tickets. I will try another day! Seroiussigma22:cool: |
i saw it!
well, i say the movie "RAY" the day it came out...
while i thought the movie was okay, JAMIE FOXX was AMAZING! my only issue with the movie was that it spent over 2 hours on the first 30 or so years of his life, and then the last 40 years were summarized in two clips at the very end of the movie that flashed about 4 sentences combined! it was an okay movie, but JAMIE BROKE IT DOWN! and regina king played very well also! |
