Who will replace out-going cabinet members?
 

Since Powell stated earlier this year he would not stay for a second Bush term and there's speculation Ashcroft will resign as well- who do you think will replace them?

ETA: Just heard on the News Norman Mineta, Tommy Thompson and Tom Ridge are also on the resigning list.

If I gambled big, I might say they would throw McCain or Rudy to replace Ashcroft and, big gamble, try and pull Kerry or another Democrat into there. These are big gambles though and the first is only if they want to neutralize those guys and the second is if Bush really loves himself.
