Alpha Slate for 08!

Fellow Sons of Alpha and my BLACK NATIONALISTIC/PAN-AFRIKANISITIC Bruhs we MUST embrace upon entertaining the possibility of SLATING one of US for US to TAKE the U.S. presidency come 2008. Many are prone and apt to scoff at such a statement, but those of US who are willing to strategize and work FOR US can truly attest that yesterday's facade of deception between the TWO SKULLERS was NOT a surprise. TWO names that are going to be tossed for 2008 are HILLARY and JEB. Bush's Floridian "Genetic-Gentry-Link" just might be thrown in the circle for possible presidency consideration. Whereas Obama's name is being tossed as a potential futuristic candidate for the presidency despite the fact that he has not served any "sufficient" time in grade relative to his recently elected Senate seat WE as BLACK PEOPLE must not let this get in the way of the FACT, that WE need to be planning and strategizing NOW! Yes, TODAY is when it starts for 2008. I know WE can begin to slate a BLACK PERSON for the WHITE HOUSE, and surely there are at least 5(FIVE) can't misses. I do not believe "Jr." is to be included in that list but that is another story. Ford (Tenn) is definitely in the TOP FIVE list of BLACKS who WE must begin to strategize for the WHITE HOUSE to be PAINTED BLACK! Puffy is not on my list as well, but who knows? Brothers, at the very moment you are reading this post there is an individual who has been indoctrinated with the thinking that he/she knows they will be supported by their very own. We MUST support OUR OWN too by "putting up" or forever holding our peace. This NO TIME for horseplay. "Vote or Die" slogans will not work for us to PAINT THE WHITE HOUSE BLACK! Let us put a BLACK PERSON in the WHITE HOUSE come 2008! BLACK MAN are you willing to take the stand? I am are you? Ptah-Hotep.

Isn't Ford an Alpha? I believe he spoke at one of our conventions/conferences.

I used to think that both he and his father were Alphas, but it turns out just the dad was.

Hotep Brothers. JC Watts(Oklahoma) is definitely going to be utilized by the Republicans come 08. He just might be used to SPLIT the ticket. A strategic move was made by Watts to remove himself from the limelight in order for him to explore his 08 potential. Your thoughts on this? Can it happen?:confused:

Watts' conservatism will resonate w/ a good percentage of AfAms, particularly those from the southern regions. But a lot depends on context of his 08 run? Is he the R candidate, VP candidate? what issue are at play at that time?

Although some GCers may disagree, I think the majority of AfAms make political decisions using the same rationale that other political segments do-- is he supportive of my political, moral and social self-interests. Can I trust the candidate and party he represents?

Frankly, we don't just vote majority Democratic because back in the day "MLK said to do so." We're waaaay too diverse for that. I think we'll see the same thing with Obama (not saying he's going to run in 08). If his Senate positions are too liberal, you'll see a surprising number of AfAms withold their support.

I don't know. I thought Watts "left" politics because he was upset that Bush did not 'tap him for a KEY position in his first administration. :confused:

This morning on TJMS, the gang was surprised Bush did not 'tap Ohio's attorney general for the Ashcroft position. The guy supposedly was instrumental in getting many blacks to vote republican in Ohio. :confused:
