A Memo to All GCers....
 

Don't ever spend the night up to watch election results and make a typo in a post at 4 or 5 a.m. The misplacement of one vowel will TOTALLY discredit any point that you are trying to make in said post.

ESPECIALLY if you are making a rebuttal to someone who is trying to mock you and managed to dick up the facts of your original post.

when watching the news all night, it totally screws up your mind while you are sleeping. i fell asleep with the tv on and i dreamed about Bush and Cheney and then about news reporters :rolleyes: then i kept hearing Tom Brokaw talk and i was trying to find where he was and i could not find him. then i woke at 3 a.m. to find Tom talking on the t.v............oh brother

I was the same way...I heard Tom Brokaw talking in my sleep because I left the TV on. I was hearing the results in my sleep, so I woke up knowing who was president. It was strange. BTW, Tom Brokaw is a trooper!! He was on the Today show all morning as well...then he did NBC Nightly News and didn't even look tired. He's been up for like 2 days! I bet he sleeps good tonight

i love Tom. he is giving it all he's got before his retirement at the end of the year:( i am going to miss him
