In This Thread, I tell you who lost the election

The american people.

Regardless of who wins half of the country will be extremely bitter & sour and do whatever it takes to fuck over new the president in office. It will remind me of the ever long battle of the jews vs. arabs in the middle east, except in the political arena with bills & laws instead of on buses & the streets with suicide bombers. Either way we lose.

How will that be any different from 2000?

Actually . . .. That little exception (bombs and guns) is what makes us fundamentally different than them.

No matter how upset people are over the election we don't go home and grab our assault rifles.

Ummm that analogy makes no sense whatsoever.

I do think however that this is going to be one heck of a polarized nation now and if Bush wins, he needs to bring in more Democrats into his administration - including Kerry probably. If Kerry wins, well he'll have to adopt the policies of the Republican senate and house just like Clinton did or it will be one reeeeally awful presidency for him and for the American people.
