Best of the Best, Does Stupid come to mind? |
Can you say "pain and suffering"? I thoought you could.
Can you say "compensation for medical expenses'? Good job. Can you say "compensation for lost time at school and/or lost wages from work"? Excellent! Can you say "punitive damages"? Nicely done. Can you say at least one of the following: "reckless endangerment," "assault," maybe even "deadly weapon" depending on what fire is considered to be? Okay, "endangerment" has four syllables, so it was tough but you gave it a good shot. Now one last one, and one of the words is three syllables: "jury selection." YES! You're prepared. |
lol, I would die if my firm took on this case (we do a substantial amount of personal injury work)...

ok, now that I can talk about the incident a little bit, still not alot because our national needs to decide what they want to do, I figured I would disspell some common misconceptions. They University cleared the chapter of fault in the events and we only got a mild slap on the wrists. The event was the act of a single individual and the chapter did not know what was going on until it was too late. The university Judiciary Board agreed and they aren't kicking us off campus nor are they putting us on probation.
Another thing, don't aways believe everything you read in the paper. The Post-Gazette was not fair in it's reporting of the incident. They shortened it and also never contacted anyone for comment, a basic in news writing. Also, please don't pass judgment until you know the whole facts, that way you don't end up looking like an a$$ in the end. |
damn....talk about playing hard

why can't they just stick to lighting farts on fire, now it's beer-battered legs. Honestly, where do they get these ideas from nowadays?
