West Ga Tri Delta Killed
 

Unfortunately, the Atlanta Journal obit website is down at the moment so I can't post the link but here's the little that I know from reading the obit in today's paper and talking with some of the WGa AGDs.

Heather Tully, 19 year old soph at West Ga was killed in auto accident this weekend. Another Tri Delt was driving near Atlanta Motor Speedway and turned into the path of an on-coming car. Their car was hit and Heather was killed instantly. Alicia??? was seriously hurt.


Please keep the Tri Deltas in your thoughts and prayers.

Sorry, that's all I can report at the moment but thought the Tri Deltas would want to know.

At WGA, the 6 sororities live in 1 dorm: AGD, XO, AXD on one side and KD, PM, and DDD on the other side. Each floor has 3 ceiling to floor windows on each hall's lobby.

Normally, the DDD has the 3 triangles outlined in white light bulbs. Tonight I glanced over and it looked like one of the Ds was darkened. I don't know if it was intentional or maybe they were doing something inside that seemed to darken that one window or it was the angle from which I was looking..

If was meant to be so, I thought it was a very sweet tribute to Heather.

I went to high school with Heather and she truly was an amazing girl. She was absolutely beautiful on the inside and out. I attended her viewing and funeral earlier this week, she touched so many people's lives. Over 1500 people came to pay their respect. The West GA Tri delts were all there and they are such a beautiful group of girls. Heather adored her sorority. Heather was one of the sweetest, most genuine people I have ever met and she was one of my very good friends. I will always cherish the time I had with her. This world is a better place from her living in it. She will be missed so much.

Please keep Heather, her family, her friends and sisters in your thoughts in prayers.

** The girl who was driving the car is out of the hospital and was at the funeral. She was one of Heather's best friends and is a beautiful girl.

how terribly sad...thoughts and prayers with all involved

I am very proud of my AGD collegians. The DDDs were having a function tonight and the AGDs brought lasgana and other stuff for them.

Someone mentioned that Alicia's wrecked car was in the parking lot???? Not sure why. (((ETA I had a lightbulb moment, lol. I think the teller meant Heather's car was still in her parking space.)

I saw Heather's beautiful picture in the AJC obits too and I wondered what happened to her...so sad.
Her friend must feel just awful.:(

What an absolutely stunning, gorgeous girl. My heart breaks for her family and friends, it's so sad when a life is taken like this. I'll send up a prayer for her family.

My sincere condolences to Heather's family, friends, and Delta Delta Delta. What a monumental loss to all. :(

that is so sad to hear. i looked at the link...she's beautiful. to her family, alicia's family, and the ladies of DDD...i am so very sorry. i'm praying for you all.
