Let me co-sign what Ideal08 said earlier. We all know the history, the terrible price paid by many in our community for us to have the right to be heard. On tomorrow, make em' hear you. :cool:

I voted absentee last week!! I CANNOT WAIT for the results to roll in!!

Polls open at 6:00am in St. Louis County!!!

So I will be there at 5:00am to stand in line so I can get in and out.

I mailed in my absentee ballot two weeks ago. Folks are getting tired of me asking " You are going to vote aren't you?"

My boss was :mad: because a girl on the Tom Joyner Morning show was being a butt because he asked her if she was going to vote and she said something along the lines of " I'm gonna try my best"

I voted last day of early voting last Friday. Long line but so worth it!

I early voted Saturday 10.30.04 in Charlotte, NC. :D

Voted absentee about a week and a half ago from Halifax, Nova Scotia.

I mailed in my absentee ballot which has me really nervous. It seems too easy for it to get "lost"- especially since I am in Florida.

Along the same lines as TonyB- the students of FAMU hosted an early voting event last week and I was listening to coverage on the radio. The DJ made a profound comment. The turnout for the event was fantastic as the line was wrapped around the state capitol and down the block. They had vendors out donating food and everything. The DJ said "People are complaining and refusing to come out and vote because the line is too long. At least there are no dogs being sicked on us, or fire hoses being turned on us, no one is spitting on us, or throwing rocks at us, in fact, we are in line eating free hotdogs and listening to music. There is no excuse for not voting." I thought he was so on point.

Yes I voted today! I was waiting in line at 6:20am and out of there by 6:45am. :D
