The alert was called off when the mystery substance was identified as the goal line.

Practice was allowed to resume after authorities determined that it was highly unlikely that any of the players would ever encounter the substance again.

Not that I'm a betting man, but it will be a superlative upset (and keep a big10 team out of the big BCS games . . . every silver lining has a cloud)

Now you are 9-1. Who gave you that lost? Oh yeah, the unranked Spartans. :D It was a good day to be a Spartan after the past two weeks of being beaten in the last 10 minutes or less in the game. It was definitely a moral booster for MSU.

Once again, Penn State proves that it is not the worst team in the Big 10 by beating everyone's favorite punching bag, Indiana!

I always think of it like this:

UI=Iowa
IU=Indiana
U of I=Illinois

And who's on a winning streak? That would be UI of course! ;)

As I was yelling "RUN, RUN!" at the tv when they had their 55 yard TD, my kids came into my room and said "Momma? Why are you watching State? Why are you ROOTING for State?" I said "They're helping Michigan!"
