Princeton Swimmer Dies
 

The oldest son of a schoolmate of mine (and nephew of someone in my graduating class) died while in Florida for a swim meet. However, his death had nothing to do with the meet. He broke his neck while playing in the waves at the beach. He was a sophomore at Princeton, was very smart, and just a good kid. I am devastated for his family.

I haven't seen any reports, but I guess it's too soon. I think it happened yesterday.

There is a report on the Princeton site now. The team was down for training and not a meet (my sister told me it was a meet).

If anyone is interested, his mom and g'mom are Tri-Deltas (I'm not sure about his mom's sister). His mom went to Ole Miss, but I don't know where his g'mom went.
