Football bet with husband -- what to ask?
 

I graduated from Auburn in the 90s and, yes, the horror, married an Alabama grad three years ago. Actually, he’s pretty nice. Anyway, this year I talked him into making a bet before the season began. I told him that if Alabama had a better record than Auburn, I would do anything he asked and he agreed to the same bet if Auburn had a better season than Alabama.

In any case, Auburn would have to lose all three of their remaining games and Alabama win all three of theirs for both teams to have the same record at the end of the regular season. As a result, he has agreed to declare me the victor if Auburn beats Ole Miss on Saturday. Not wanting to squander this wonderful opportunity, I wanted to ask for ideas as to what I should ask of him. He is a good sport, so I don’t have to worry about making him upset either! I actually think he's kind of looking forward to what I might come up with Any ideas? I want it to be something good and related to our rivalry.

Oh lord! Hee. My UTexas brother married a Texas A&M Aggie, so I know what you are going through! (we gave them a "House Divided" banner to fly during football season!).

Well, one thing is to make him wear an Auburn sweatshirt for an entire weekend...and he has to wear it OUT of the house-preferably to some social gathering with friends.

What else? Hmmm....will have to think about it & get back to you!

You should make him wear an auburn shirt that claims auburn as the better football team.

I went to VTech and we had a great shirt that said "just say no" on the front and on the back "Partnership for a wahoo free america, Friends don't let friends got to UVA".

Something like that would be a riot. On Auburn game days have him dress up in paint in auburn colors. Have him go all out and then have a football party or go to a game. The t-shirt might be the easiest though.
