Me too, I didn't get your PM last time until after the Pledging Ceremony i was still new to everything on GC. I can't wait to see everyone there. Courtney is Announcing slate on weds and we are all super excited. It is going to be a busy month til Installation but we are all so happy and the Theta Xi boys are supporting us.

Has the Theta Xi colony been installed yet? That's awesome that they're so supportive of you ladies!

Not yet, they hope to in the spring. They have done everything required they just have to get a total of 30 active members. It is sad that it is the only thing holding them back from being installed.

Alpha Xi Delta’s National Council proudly announces the installation of Iota Iota Chapter at Greensboro College on December 4, 2004. Iota Iota chapter will be installed as Alpha Xi Delta’s 201st chapter. Alpha Xi Delta will be the first national organization installed at Greensboro, joining a colony of Theta Xi Fraternity and a number of local fraternities and sororities. In keeping with Fraternity custom, National officers and volunteers, college chapters and alumnae associations and individuals should send congratulatory messages to the new chapter recognizing its installation. wait wait wait! If GC is the 201st chapter, who is 200? Because the SPSU chapter, Iota Theta is 199 (at least, thats what our quills say on them...)

I think Alpha must be #000 .. I've tried working this out before

My chapter is Epsilon Kappa and our chapter number is #129...

but .. when you count up the chapters EK was the 130th chapter..

single letter, A, B, G, D (5 * 24) = 120 + EA, EB, EG, ED, EE, EZ, EH, ETheta, EI, EK (10) makes 130 chapters ..

I bet your quills (when you get them) will have 200 as your chapter number.

Can anyone else answer this for sure???

We did the numbers game. We couldn't figure it out for awhile and then i saw that the Beta Chapter was 001 so figured that Alpha was 000. But it doesn't matter if we are the 200 or 201st chapter we are just so happy and proud to be part of Alpha Xi Delta. Inspiration Week is next week! Yippie for thanksgiving break cause otherwise we would all be running around campus counting down the days.

Oh and we got our offices. I am Programs VP/Ritual Chair/ Philanthropy Service Chair/ Marshall. It is alot of work and I have to take a backpack to my meetings but I love it. So much fun. I am so honored that Courtney has trusted me with the position of Ritual Chair.

Tonight still not sure what i will be wearing... ut oh

For tomorrow I have a dress with Jacket that has like clear stones on the front of the jacket. I have shoulder length reddish brown hair. I am the one from Clearwater/Orlando Fl.

So excited! Tomorrow is a busy busy day because I am in the Greensboro Christmas Parade with the Marching Band then as soon as I get back I have to make a mold of my face for a theater make-up craft class. Then finally I can get ready for installation. yippie its almost here!
