The Grudge
 

I have the original Japanese version of the Grudge on DVD. It's a weird movie to say the least, and a little disturbing too. How is the American version of the film?

The American version really creeped me out. But I'm a wimp anyway when it comes to scary movies. I haven't seen the original, but this one didn't really have much plot or character development. Plus, it was kind of predictable. But the images were so creepy that it still managed to have everyone in the theater I was in screaming and watching through their fingers. My friends and I were cowering in our seats :)

I thought it was scarier than The Ring, but not as good of a movie.

My husband saw it-- he liked it. He thought it was scary for a PG-13 movie.

That was my thought... I almost think it was TOO scary for PG-13!

Honestly, the only reason I would even see the movie is because of Sarah Michelle Geller. Mainly because I'm a HUGE, HUGE, HUGE Buffy fan. LOL.

I'll probably wait though until it comes out on DVD

Of course I saw the movie tonight on Halloweeny.

At one point I was hurting M's hands and might have left clawmarks on his arm.

And then I started shaking and I couldn't stop.

Not as complex and plotty like The Ring, but friggin' scary nonetheless.

I am still shaking two hours later. Dammit, that movie drained me. It took me a while for me to leave my seat in the theater.

So, in essence, the movie is scary. However, it has terrible plot.

Just saw the flix. I agree that it's a creepy movie. However, there was no plot and is very confusing. Oh well, I enjoyed the ride.

i got in free and am very glad i didn't pay for it.

the plot was awful. not well developed. they could have done so much more with it. very disappointing

my favorite thing to do is call my friend from random extensions in my office and make the grudge noise.
