Odd Business Names
We were driving home from my grandparents this weekend, stop for gas, as I pulled in I looked at the sign---- the gas stations name was the "Kum and Go". We both found the name rather amusing---- I would never spell "come" as "kum" for a business name, it is just to close.....
here's a picture of the sign-- i kept waiting to see some slogan to go along with the name--- http://www.tmobilepictures.com/photo...0a9pl4g2famf6v |

I used to get freaked out by the ACDC Christian School. Actually, it was an abbreviation for Arlington Child Development Center, but really.....
It didn't help matters that it was on a big-azz sign on a majorly busy street. |

In Long Beach there's a Thai food restaurant called Phuket Thai.
I'm sure you can guess why people giggle when they see the sign. The restaurant understands the "humor" of it and has t-shirts which read: Say it, POO-KET. Don't ask me why. (Phuket apparently is an island off the coast of Thailand) http://www.phuketthai.com/ .....Kelly :) |
At Newport Beach in Cali there's a restaurant called "Phucket Thai".
