Another topic I picked up a long the way and thought would be cool to start over here.

How often do you...

(It might be cool to also say if you are a collegian or alum)

- Wear your letters?
- Wear our colors?
- Wear your badge?

Status: alumna

-Wear your letters: I wear them every now and then. I can't wear them to work which of course takes up the majority of my week. However, I do sport my fav long-sleeve gray with letters to bed. I also wear my silver ring with letters pretty much daily!

-Wear our colors: I don't wear purple that often, its not the most flattering color, but I have a cute GAP three-quarter length that is lilac that I like. And of course...white..I wear white all the time. I mean really..is there a better color to have?!:p

-Wear your badge: Almost never *tear. The last time I wore my badge was graduation back in May. I hope to wear it when I help my chapter with recruitment this year though!

Status: in-between? (I am at a school that doesnt have a Sigma chapter, but plan to transfer next fall to one that does...what does that make me?)

Wear Letters- 4/7 days of the week! I love wearing my letters.

Wear Purple- Seldom, they dont make very cute purple stuff

Wear my badge- when I was at Sam I wore it at least once a week, but now sadly it doesnt get out as much

I am a relatively new alumna - having graduated in December 2003. Actually yikes - I've almost been an alum for a year! I've just started my MLitt at St. Andrews in Art History and hope to stay on here for my PhD.

Wear Letters ~ As often as I can!! But it usually ends up that I wear them on off days (can we say library?), as I try to look polished for my seminars. I was wearing my first set of letters (maroon sweatshirt w/ plaid letters) this weekend and I have several great recruitment shirts that I wear quite often.

Wear Our Colors ~ Hmm, I have a really great purple skirt (it's got watercolor-looking flowers on the thin top layer) that I like, but I don't have a lot of other purple clothing... And one of my recruitment shirts is purple. :)

Wear Our Badge ~ I love wearing my badge. I wore it to the first Art History postgrad reception, I've worn it to class, church, etc. Because I'm really proud to be a Sigma and know that the things that it stands for helped me get to where I am today. And I just think it goes beautifully when I'm wearing the pearls I got for graduation. I also have the Young Alumna pin that I wear on my jacket. I don't wear my scholarship ring as much as I should, because I'm afraid of losing it. Other Sigma jewelry, my lavaliere and crest necklace are regular pieces of jewelry for me.

I'm pretty much always wearing something with Sigma on it - or if not, I have my little Sigma planner from DLC a few years ago.

*Letters- I try to wear letters at least once a week. Since it's getting colder around here, I wear my letter hoodie alot.

*Colors- I have a few purple sweaters that I really like. :)

* Badge- I wear it to badgewear chapter meetings and Greek events that require badge attire. I wear it to ritual events. I also wear it to church or teacher observations if I'm dressed appropriately.

Letters: Almost everyday somehow- my boyfriend teases me
because you can almost always see me in a Sigma tshirt,
a letter sweatshirt, with my letter bag.
Colors: I have a few fitted shirts that are various shades of
purple, along with a few purple sweaters that I wear. I
usually wear a white shirt or tank top under everything.
Badge: I only wear it to CBM's or other Ritual events.

I have a Sigma checkbook cover that I use. I also wear my lavalier or my indented triangle necklace a lot, too.
