Energy Drinks
 

Have you tried one? Which one did you try? Does it really work? How long (if at all) will the effect last? Are there any side effects (nervousness and things of that nature)?

I'm a fan of Hansen's. I've tried Red Bull and it made me gag. It doesn't give me anymore energy, but it gives me great drive (as in motivation) like coffee but without the side effects.

I've tried Crunk Juice (made famous by Lil Jon). It makes you real nervous and ummm...it get's you sexually aroused. (Had to think of another word/term for what I initially was thinking :) ). Yes, it works a little TOO much & I cannot recall how long the side effects lasts...sorry

I've tried Rooster Booster and Amp. They both worked well with no side effects.

I like Red Bull and Vodka for a night on the town. But for pure energy during the day I usually stick with Diet Pepsi, or emergen C powders in water. Every blue moon I'll have a grande mocha, or a Dr. Pepper.

Hmmmm....does the RB/vodka give you energy PLUS a buzz? I assume so. I may try that. Can you only drink one? What's the mix? I'd hate to be too f****** up and WANT to go to sleep but be unable to.

I also have a box of emergen c and it does nothing for me. I have heard that Puffy "requires" a crapload of emergen c when he does shows, etc., but I don't see why.

I haven't tried anything but I may just for a little amp.

r/b adn vodka, also known as a "Raging Bull" is a great 1st drink, or midway through the night drink, i wouldn't recommmend it later in the evening. at bars they usually do a standard pour of vodka, and then as much of the red bull as will fit in the glass, and then hand you the remainder of what's in the can. At home, i just mix to taste :)

as for e-c, I find that it helps me maintain my energy level w/o making me go crazy.

I have a Red Bull and a XS in my refrigerator. I am scared to drink them both. My ex would drink madd Red Bulls during the day because he would be up all night. Anyway, when I try them I will let you know whats up.

A friend of mine loves the mix of Red Bull and Vodka. She says its great for a night at the club.

I've tried Red Bull. It didn't really do anything for me. One of my friends from undergrad used to mix Red Bull with Pepsi for a night of studying. She swore by it.

Most of the drinks are caffeine, sugar and taurine.

The caffeine is an obvious stimulant. The taurine actually takes the edge off the caffeine by calming down the central nervous system.

You can also take theanine with caffeine for a great effect. Relaxed but alert.

Funny story about the latter drink. I was crossing into the US from Canada on my way to work this morning. Border guard asked me what I was bringing into the US. I said, "Coffee and a fresh can of Whoop Ass and I am NOT afraid to open it"

He died laughing and let me on thru! :D
