Love Gone
 

Have you ever been with your partner and you notice the love is gone, the way they look at you, talk with you (even online) or hang with you is very different than it was in the beginning, at first you begin to think, you are spending lots of time together, the newness is wearing off but you still love each other but you still get that gut feeling that the person is not looking at you with love anymore, it is like he is looking at a roomate or a classmate (not a stranger, not a friend but someone he has to talk with). It hurts but then you have to focus to move on cuz its waste of time to still be in love with someone you think does not love you back. Most important is to focus on your work, education and FRIENDS - they will always be there but be careful it is tempting to get into the bashing of the parter like oh I knew he was bad blah blah rude, not perfect for you, you can do better, blah blah............

The hardest part is to be friends so to prevent nasty gossip or whatever since you will travel in the same circles. What do you do when you or a friend has been in this situation????

I'm missing the problem here. You split in a mature way, recognizing that you simply aren't right for each other. Not being right for each other doesn't make either of you bad or wrong, you're simply not a good fit. What's the issue?

Better to be out of relationship going no where than to stay in a relationship going no where.
