Apparently he does matter enough to get BET to agree not to play Eminem's video.

nah, BET is first of all really candy-assed about things that 'reflect poorly' on artists they associate with, and they have a long-term working agreement with Jackson. He's really being a dick by even pulling this strings, but BET has little to no choice.

The other day on TRL, John Norris mentioned the BET boycott of the video, and though he didn't say it in these exact words, it went something along the lines of, "Eminem's a badass and we don't care what you say, Jacko because we're going to play his shit".

Eminem a badass please if he's such a badass he would poke fun @ Suge Knight, although I don't care for Jackson I'll be very pleased when Eminem's 15 minutes of fame runs out then he can take a seat next to Vanilla Ice.
