ADPi Homecoming Finalists
Our chapter's philanthropy chair and I both made homecoming court finalists (there are ten guys and ten girls picked, and the five and five left after voting are the court). Homecoming is on Marina's (philanthropy chair) birthday, so maybe she'll get to be queen as a present! I am so out of my league with all the other girls they picked, but I am so shocked and excited! Eight or nine of the queen finalists are Greek-one is the XO president, she's great, we're in the same psych research lab, an AOTT, a KD, and a Kappa and the others I'm unsure of. Last year we had three sisters as finalists and two of them made court, so we'll see I guess...
(I also got officer of the week at chapter today. I'm hoping that this week doesn't lose its momentum with midterms!) |

Well today we took pictures, and they're going to be used to for online voting and also as POSTER SIZE versions in the student center...I'm a little scared b/c I'm not quite sure how my picture turned out! I won't really have any news until about a week or so, when they put everything online and in the newspaper. Any suggestions on places to go on my 4 day weekend in Atlanta for a dress? I need a new "post-Labor Day" dress anyway! |

Like I had said on another thread- 4 ADPi's, 1 DG, 2 KKG's, 1 AGD, and 2 Non Greek women were on Homecoming Court at The University of Akron. A non- greek won!

Another one of my sisters just got added to court finalists! I guess there was a mix up or miscalculation of scores (they won't explain, and I'm convinced I was the mix up b/c I am pretty random in the bunch), and Kat (Standards and Ethics) is now the eleventh queen candidate...so 3 out of 11 are ADPi's...one of us at least will have to make court, right?!
