Jacques Derrida dies
 

Derrida passed away on Saturday after a long battle with cancer. By far one of the most influential thinkers of the 20th century. :(

Rest in Peace, Jacques. :(

Many many many of our inside jokes in college were about Derrida's theories.

Derrida's The Gift of Death is probably the #2 most influential book I've read during my college career. :(

Me and my best friend have a lot of deconstructionist/postmodern jokes. My birthday present from her last year was a "Build your own postmodern movie" kit. :p
