new trend in posting
hey y'all
I've been poking through recent posts & I notice there are a few sisterfriends frequently using the phrase "I'm not a member." I understand you're using the phrase so there won't be any confusion, but I don't think it's necessary to preface EVERY post that way. Certainly if there is a question relating to Delta and you're giving your opinion, then by all means. But if it's a hey-something-great-is-going-on-in-my-life post or other general topic post, it's not necessary. Besides, we see most of our sisterfriends screennames VERY often http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/wink.gif & we usually know who you are (SF vs. Delta I mean. We haven't had to track anyone down... yet ***evil, yet joking laugh***)...if not, we'll ask. I said all this to make sure no one feels like they have to walk on eggshells. We love love & fellowship here and I would hope that everyone thinks of the people who post on this board as family. Peace & Warm Fuzzies... Thanks for the clarification and for taking the time to address this matter. I picked up the phrase, b/c I was new to posting & noticed it was used alot by other nonmembers.
Personally, It feels good to know that open dialogue is welcomed here. I hope to contribute positively to this board and never require the need to be "tracked down" http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/wink.gif ------------------ "Education is your passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to the people who prepare for it today." -- El-Hajj Malik El-Shabazz |
