Just got my R.E.M. ticket!!!
 

wohoo, will be seeing them on 10 March down here in Johannesburg, South Africa. Can't wait. Not a bad summer concert season so far. Last week saw the Offspring (it was actually a bloody good time), Josh Groban 28 Nov and now R.E.M. on 10 March.

Saturday morning, we bought Pixies tickets for Dec. 18. They sold out within the first hour.

REM's going to be here the day after Election Day. I'd love to see how Stipe responds, either way...

Damn, I wish I could go and see the Pixies. They're one of my favorite band.

I want to see Queen live, but first they'd have to be alive.

Well "Queen" are still "together", though it's only the drummer and the guitarist. At least the bass player has the common decency to realized that they are no longer Queen.

True dat! Back in the day, my husband saw them live twice when he lived in Montreal.

He said they were awesome performing live!

I would love to see REM

They are playing Vancouver Nov 21st, but we are already going to see the Hip on the 14th, so I don't if we can swing both. But I really want to see REM.

REM is not the best live.

Queen would have been insane. Plus the lead singer was Persian and us ethnic folks would be willing to support the most boring person in the name of pride.

I'm going to see them November 4 at the Madison Square Garden! I can't wait! I saw them last year at Jones Beach and they were awesome!
