Kerry v Bush Round 2
 

Tonight Sen. Kerry and Bush will go @ it again , here's a quick recap from from the first dedate Kerry gave Bush what was amounted to an intellectual b#t*h slap that Bush never recovered from. Bush stuttered and gunted the rest of the way in the debate so caught off guard that in an attempt to defend going to war in Iraq he yelled on 9/11 they attacked us which of course is not true.
So tonight will it be John (The b#t*h slapper) kerry or George (Attack the wrong country for the wrong reasons) Bush.

ugh, this debate is terrible.
It's like watching Rudey and RACooper go at each other.

WAY too much hostility, that's going to turn off a lot of people.

I really miss Ross Perot. At least he was fun to watch!

I missed the first part of the debate. I have to admit that Bush did make me laugh. The rebuttal to Kerry about anybody needing wood was great.

How was the audience chosen for the debate?

I believe that they were determined to be undecided voters. I don't know how they could be undecided. To me, the two candiates are completely opposite!

The were chosen by the Gallup Organization (the poll people) from among people who claimed to be undecided. There was a fairly lengthy and complicated questionaire they filled out and the Gallup people made their picks as scientifically as possible.

Actually, they weren't undecided voters -- they were "soft supporters" of one candidate or the other that claimed they were open to changing their minds.

Overall I think both candidates did better and the result was a closer debate than the first one -- but I also (naturally) think that Kerry pulled out ahead. I agree about the hostility; there were some points when it was just over the top.

It cured mine also. Good thing I TiVoed it so I can watch the last half 15 minutes.

From what I saw, Bush had the upper hand in this one. Kerry just does not do that well in the format used for this debate.

I'm interested in where you heard that. The head of the Gallup Organization was interviewed on NPR's Morning Edition and explained at some length how they ID's "undecided" voters.
