Non-Sexual Crushes
 

Has anyone ever had a crush on someone that wasn't sexual in nature?

At my new job, I have a serious crush on this married guy. There is no sexual attraction involved, but I just love spending time talking with him. I make sure I get the chair next to him in meetings, I always make sure I have a funny thing to say to him. I tease him all the time.

I swear that it's not sexual. I just get butterflies when I see him because he's so...I don't know. He's my height (5'11"), with goofy nerd boy hair (he put tiger stipe type highlights all over his head!!), WAY too into movies (he peppers his conversations with movie quotes...GEEK!!), and has a deep southern twang....BUT I JUST ADORE HIM!

Can anyone relate??

Also, what about same sex crushes? I've had these...Usually they pop up during a self-evaluation phase when I'm trying to improve who I am and find this person's personality/life fascinating...


(FYI: I would never move in on a married man. Marriage is so sacred to me and I would never want someone to do that to my husband. He's off limits...PERIOD! No if, ands, or buts about it. No spin could ever make that ok!)

I am completely ok with you Doubting Thomases...But I really am not attracted to him that way...This comes back to the whole "Can men and women TRULY be friends?" controversy!!!

yeah, I have a ton of crushes that aren't sexual. I've been with my boyfriend for 3 years and never cheated on him, but I still get lonely and it's like...oh that guy is cute...that one is nice...blah. And then I remind myself that I have the best man ever.
