Why did they give Leon a talk show??

What is going on with BET? I mean what is up with these 30 minute shows, Grown Folks Music and BET Countdown????

From what I saw of one show it was pretty much Leon (don't the brutha got a last name) sitting there with his legs wide open trying to get his "sexy" on with the camera. :rolleyes: He would squint, lick his lips, squint, purse his lips, squint and then smile. :rolleyes: :rolleyes: :rolleyes: :rolleyes:

:p Yes I would actually watch it to see what it's about. BET has tried the late night talk show before and I find it interesting/funny.

I haven't seen the show yet, so if anyone does see it, let a sista know how wack it really is. Also, Leon's last name is Robinson. I guess he dropped the last name to be like Madonna or something......:rolleyes:

I caught it one night and there were 4 guests: Lil' Wayne, Miss D.C. and 2 other random people. It was THE WORST.

First, who thought that Lil' Wayne was articulate enough to put on tv?? Let him stick to rappin'.

i watched it last night and it was actually good. it featured Angie Martinez, the NYC DJ, Dr. Jeffery Gardere (sic), a noted psychologist, someone who works for BET and Stacie (sic) J formerly of The Apprentice. depending on who the guests are, there's a potential for good discussion. the topics last night were the election, men on the DL, and another topic (it was late so i don't recall). it's not the Bev Smith show or the show that featured Black male panelists in years past but i think it deserves a chance...:)

I am going to give the show a chance!! But if I am not satisfied, can I get my money back? :D
