Orlando-AP) -- A fraternity at the University of Central Florida has been suspended from campus activities pending an investigation into a suspected hazing incident involving the head-on crash of two trucks.
One truck that crashed October 16th was filled with members of Sigma Alpha Epsilon, the other with recruits. The crash put one student in the hospital with a severely cut nose. Two other students had minor injuries, interviews and police reports show. Witnesses told university police that they saw one man try to get out of a truck bed before the accident, but three others held him back. Another witness said a crash victim had his hands duct-taped together and reeked of alcohol, U-C-F police reports state. U-C-F's Student Rights and Responsibilities Office is investigating the incident. No criminal charges are pending. last year ... sounds pretty smart to me  |
