Legally Alpha Gam
 

Hi Everybody,
I joined Greekchat while ago and forgot about it until I saw a posting about it in livejournal where I usually post. Anyways, for our recruitment event for 12 party every sorority on campus does a skit. Last year our theme was "AGD TV" and it was set up to look like a dorm room with two girls turning on the television to a mystery show where they "discovered" different things about our house, and the "commercials" involved a rap about our house and our famous light dance, where we do a dance without the lights on, but with glo bracelets on our dancer's ankles and wrists. We have to change our skit this year because we mentioned searching and finding our house mom too much, and this was an infraction of rush rules (don't ask me the specifics because I don't know :p ). Our new theme is going to be Legally Alpha Gam and we're going to base our skit on Legally Blonde somehow, maybe a courtroom where Elle is convincing the jury (new members) why our house is so great. I was just wondering if anyone had any ideas for the plot, decorations, or anything that has worked well for them in general with a skit. We want it to be very cute, but also not make us look like we're all fluff!

you know that the writer of the script of the original Legally Blonde IS an Alpha Gam right??

there's a link to the web article about her but i don't know where it is. I think if you do a search in greek chat it'll come up!

Question: Does anyone know if the other writer for Legally Blonde I is Greek? According to IMDB, she went to NYU, but it doesn't say if she's Greek or not.

I dont know but in my opinion the 2nd movie was awful. She took all the original jokes and just changed them slightly but they just weren't funny anymore at that point.

Sometimes, you gotta say something the first time and just leave it at that :)
I think this is one of those cases where the 1st time was the best and should have been left that way.
