hehe, I'm getting ready for formal chapter and I just put on my badge and it reminded me how much I love our badge!!

It's so delicate, classy and beautiful :)

Hopefully when I'm older I'll get to wear it a lot (right now I'm thinkin law school so I'd be in pin attire quite often)

I dont think any of my sisters have a jeweled badge.. I've never even seen one in person!

I'm sure I'm biased but I really do think that ours is one of the prettiest badges out there -- understated but beautiful at the same time :)

I agree. You don't need jewels to make the badge special, but I love my jeweled badge. Mine has pearls in the shaft with a diamond in the tip.

I'm hoping I'll get a jeweled badge as a present sometime this school year..... we'll see! :)

I love wearing the IC badge, too. I get a lot of comments on it on campus because it's so huge!

Mine is wine and blue opals and I bought 2 more jeweled ones off eBay!

where did you get the wine/blue opals? that would be my dream badge. I bid on the opal one on ebay (it even had a Beta chapter guard) but it went for a ton.. :(

I am obsessed w/ opals and would love the idea of a wine/blue badge. I'm thinkin about the crown pearl badge and also the one w/ wine/blue stones.. hmmmm

I just ordered opals and they came that way! My big's badge had opals too but they were milky bluish-white.

I couldnt imagine having any other badge!! I just got a new jeweled one for my birthday. I got it from my parents....they didn't understand why i was so excited about it but its absolutely gorgeous! I got the aquarmarine and garnet with a diamond point and it sparkles soo much. I figure ill be wearing it every sunday till school ends and then every time i dress up when im an adult....it will get its use!

I was debating getting that or the pearl one... although my dream badge would be wine/blue opals like carnation's!

Maybe you could request wine and blue opals from the pinmaker or an independent jeweler!
