APO Leads...."Launch"
 

Have any of you attended a "Launch"? As Section Leadership Chair, I have the responsibility of spreading the word to local chapters that a Launch is being held this month. I've never been to one, and I would love to be able to tell the chapters what this event will be like.

As Section Leadership Chair you should have at least attended Launch. May I strongly encourage that you do so as soon as possible, as well as seriously consider becoming an APO LEADS Presenter? We are always looking for additional staff, and I don't think your section has any. The upcoming National Convention will be a great opportunity for you to do so. This way when you spread the word to the chapters in your section, you can tell them YOU can be the presenter. Also be sure to get APO LEADS courses presented at your Section Conference.

If you want to learn more about Launch (or any of the other APO LEADS course), get over to www.leadership.apo.org and read over the information there. They've started to add in testimonials, and that can give you additional info to pass on to chapters.

I am going to participate in the Launch that I am helping to plan. In the mean time, I've learned A LOT from my predecessor (current Section Chair) and from the APO Leads website. Testimonials would be a great addition to the site!
