Chi Os Get Out and VOTE!

With the presidential debates starting tomorrow night, I thought it would be fun to see just who is planning to be involved in the upcoming election.

Personally, I watched both party conventions and plan to catch some/all of the debates.

P.S. I'm voting for "W"

Registration deadlines by state:

I have already applied for my absentee ballot and can't wait to put in my vote this election!

W'04!

Girls in college, make sure you apply for your absentee ballot ASAP if you are not in school in your voting district or cannot easily get home on November 2nd. Most county election offices have websites with online absentee signup or with directions on how to go about the process.

Be responsible and vote!

I am a huge advocate for voter registration. I used to bug all my friends about it in college, I brought it up at chapter meetings, etc. I also put the election on the Calendar of Events in the most recent NYC Alum Chapter Newsletter. Maybe I should get a job with Rock the Vote! :)

Unlike many of my sisters on this board (except maybe Michelle!) I'll be hitting the Kerry lever on November 2, but I love you all anyway! And I encourage everyone to vote - even/especially because this will probably be another tight race.

I recently moved, so here's hoping my registration gets processed in time! And xo_kathy, I'll be voting for Kerry as well. Ok, maybe Nader since my state's bound to sent all 50 electorate votes to Kerry anyway. I can't remember even hearing about a time California ever voted conservatively in an electorate vote. We've had several conservative govorners (or the governator at present), but when voting at the federal/national level, everyone seems to be rather liberal. At least, the majority is, and whatever the majority decides gets all 50 electoral votes. ok, long enough post. I just hope my registration goes through in time.

Another Chi O for Kerry here.....I plan on watching the debate tonight.

I have to figure out my voting situation, though. I am moving the last week of October and I'm not sure which town I will be able to vote in.

I sent my absentee ballot in yesterday. Nadar wasn't even on the ballot...don't know what that's about, but I guess you can write him in.

I know that he was on the ballot in some states and pretty much assumed he'd be on the ballot here in Kahlifoania

Nadar is on my absentee ballot from Maryland.

W'04.

You been practicing punching your chads, XOAlum?

I have to work 9 am to 9 pm tomorrow, so that means I have to get up earlier and vote before work. The sucky thing - the place I vote is a church that is a school during the day. I have a feeling I'm going to be in their traffic line. Hopefully I can get in and out quickly!
