Re-Use Sex toys?
Ok.
Lets say you are dating an adventurous partner and develop quite an expensive collection of sex toys for their pleasure. Now lets say you break up and start dating someone else. Do you use the sex toys with the next partner (assuming they are willing)? Do you have to buy all new toys? Do you tell the new partner that you used the toys with your old partner? Or do you just . . . omit . . . that part of it and use them with the new partner as if they were new? Doesn't it seem a shame as well as a waste of money to have to get rid of them? What do you think? (I am imagining the horror on ZTAngel's face lol) :p |
A dime size of hand sanitizer will do the job.
|
non-electric things could probably be put in the dishwasher to be cleaned.
(heh- I'm imagining my roommate opening the dishwasher to find a sex toy hee hee) |
Where's my friend BabyP on this thread;) ?!
|
That's one of the myriad reasons why you're supposed to put barriers on sex toys that you share with others.
Depending on the type, they can be boiled, disinfected with peroxide, or simply washed with warm soapy water. |

"mom, you always said you would do this, but I never thought you really would!!!" As they hold up the pseudo-manhood! LOLOLOLOLOLOL |
Definitely tell the new partner! Then she/he can decide whether or not to use them.

Ewwwwwwwww...James, you must absolutely get new ones!

Sets of Nine...
If you were practicing the Tantra with Kama Sutra moves, you would have no need for extracurricular devices... Bioelectric stimulations would occur with just a look...

You do ask some odd questions.
I'd say most sex toys would be fine washed properly with soap and warm water. The viruses leading to STDs do not generally last long outside the body; soap would assist further. Any residual bacteria (particularly if they were used anally rather than vaignally - don't look at me I didn't start this thread) would be also removed with the soap. Using hand wipes is ... possibly okay; but you'd need to make sure they were anti-bacaterial not just baby wet wipes. You don't have to buy new toys I suppose. I don't think a partner would be terribly impressed if you told her "you just have this try this! when it was stuck up my last girlfriend she went wild!". |
If a man and a woman have a large collection of sex toys and split up, she should take them.
Let's look at it like this -- I've yet to meet a heterosexual man who uses sex toys on himself. If a couple accumulates a large collection, I'd venture to guess that it's because the man is lacking in some department and the woman isn't satisfied -- either that, or she likes experimentation. Either way, once they part ways, why does he need or want them? |
uh, the girl should keep the sex toys. solves everything...
