The deadline for several alumni items is approaching quickly. Each chapter needs to submit their annual report (the contents are outlined in the National Alumni bylaws) & the $25 franchise renewal fee. Please make sure your report contains a current officer contact list which includes the name, address, phone number and email of at least the 4 required officers.

It's also the time to join or renew your membership with the National Alumni Association. Annual dues are $35 (the first year of annual dues is free for new graduates) while lifetime dues payments are $50 installments. A revised membership form can be found several places on the national website (links are on both the alumni page and Forms Central).

And don't forget: Alumni chapters who are sending a delegate to National Chapter Congress are required to submit a delegate form just like collegiate chapters. This form can be found on the national website @ Forms Central. The due date is October 1!

It would probably be best to go ahead and mail the report to the NAB Vice President. I'll p.m. her address to you tonight, but if you still have your ballot for the bylaws changes, it's that address. If anyone else needs the address, let me know and I'll p.m. you as well. But don't panic if you sent your report to the National Address! Kelly Jo knows where to find us :)

So I graduated in May, does this mean that I just need to submitt the form for membership and start paying dues next year?

Since you're a new graduate, that's all you need to do. We ask that those who take advantage of the "First Year Free" offer begin lifetime dues payments the following year. Lifetime dues are a total of $600 and are payable in $50 installments. Let me know if you have any other questions and thanks for your interest!
