GLO Headquarters and Website Pictures

OK, if mods think this belongs in Risk Management, feel free to move it there:

I have heard of headquarters asking people to remove pictures from websites because they might be showing their GLO in a negative light. Now let's look at the following situation:

You are an 18 or 19 year old collegian, and your parents decide to take you to France on vacation. This vacation in France includes a wine tour. There, you find that sister from another chapter is there as well, and you two have pictures taken together, mostly of you tasting wine. You post them on your personal website which has a link to your chapter's site. You also mention extensively that you are an ABC on your personal site. If someone sees this, and reports it to your HQ, would it be wrong for HQ to ask you to take down the picture? What if there aren't any pictures, but you mention in your blog that you went on a wine tour?

I think that your HQ is being unreasonable in their request. I've heard of some churches trying to excercise that degree of control over their members' personal lives, but never a private organization, and certainly not a GLO.

Give 'em one of these:

I'd respond but I live in fear that my GLO will exercise more control over what I can and cannot post. I've gotten into trouble already & don't want anymore.

I've never heard of my own HQ doing this. I was just wondering.

You're in France and you are following the laws for alcohol consumption there. As long as you're not wearing letters, I don't see the problem.

IMO, it would be the same as if you talked about driving a car at 14 if you were in one of the states that gives learners permits that early, even if the state you are in now is 16.
