A Butler University police officer was shot and killed today on campus. :(

Anytime anyone (especially when it's in the line of service) is killed it's horrible. My heart goes out to their family. Still...




...did anyone else glance at the title of this thread and immediately picture some sort of houseservant mishap?

This is a really tough time on campus, I used to work for the BUPD and knew Officer Davis personally. I hope that nothing like this ever touches anyone else on this board. It's almost as if Butler has lost it's spirit right before homecoming and there's this sadness that has descended upon campus.
