hey sorors and sisterfriends...

i haven't seen much of anyone lately and was wondering if everyone is okay. it is only a couple of weeks until school is over and i want to know if everyone is living a stress free life like i am. *yeah right* http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/rolleyes.gif

tell us what is going on your lives the good and the bad.

with me...i have recently acquired a second job working at a radio station and my first is working as an assistant supervising coordinator/assistant graphic designer for Bryant Park in NYC, while being a fulltime student. so life is pretty hectic.

some good news in my life is i recently got in touch with my line sister/best friend, that i hasn't talked to in three years. we had a little fight that turned big for no reason and reunited during a homecoming and now we talk on the phone everyday, like we live next door *she is in maryland and i am in new york* http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/tongue.gif

i guess i just incredible happy and wanted to share the good news with you all.

i could talk on and on all day but i am share you all want to share to....

I've been great!

Finals start next week and then I'll be on my way back home to Cleveland. I can't wait. I haven't been home since Aug. 22. My semester is going great and I should end up with no less than a 3.7. I have been truly blessed. Right now I'm planning activities for next semester and taking things one day at a time!

Over the summer, I relocated to Baltimore for a better job. We are all moved into my new (temporary) house and just put my previous house on the market in Philly (know anyone who would like a 3-bedroom single home in a very nice area of NE Philly w/ a little land? http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/wink.gif ).

I also transferred to a new alumnae chapter that I just love. I have come full circle and I am once again working w/ some of the women who "made" me at my undergrad chapter here in Baltimore. http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/biggrin.gif

My family is doing well (little boys are growing) and I am located closer to my mother.

Life is good and we are soooo BLESSED.

I too have missed everyone http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/frown.gif My last final was on the 21st http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/biggrin.gif ; we're on quarters. It feels good not having to go to school everynight after working a full day. School doesn't start back until Jan 2nd!! (I'm a little excited now because I haven't had a break from school since last November.)

Right now I am just trying to relax a little and enjoy the time with my son and my big baby http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/wink.gif. I am able to go swimming everyday, without rushing, to get my workout on. I'm going to do some Christmas shopping this weekend and take my son to the movies.

All of my fun is about to end because I have to finish studying for the GRE http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/frown.gif I take it on Dec. 30th which is the day before my B'day. Not TOO much is going on in my world. I'm on the planning committee for Delta Nu's 50th anniversary in 2002 and I've been asked to help my undergrad chapter with our annual step show (you'll be hearing more about that later). I'm looking at MBA programs to start after I finish with my network technology program, which starts in February and runs for 13 months. I'll be leaning lots of fun stuff like Novell networking, Windows NT & 2000, and little Cicso too. I'm very excited about it. So far GA Tech and University of Maryland, College Park are in the running as my MBA program of choice. But most importantly (I think), I've FINALLY decided to lose pounds equivalent to a small child. I that change on Sunday. Other than that, I'm just working and trying to stay out of trouble.

Hello normally I am just a silent reader but now I wish to meet everyone and become known. I am Kay, and I attend school in the Nashville area. (GO TITANS!!) First of all i am just a sisterfriend. My life has been alright. I have been going to school and working hard. I attend church regularly. ( hey Crystal) My grades are fine and I am ready for finals. Right now I am busy getting involved in the NEA/TEA. Which is a teacher union/ organization. I am trying to make our student TEA more active than it is. So if anyone has any ideas for me then that is cool. Please share. I hope everyone has a happy holiday.

All is well on my end....I have been concentrating on school rightnow. For those of you that do not know I am a senior Mass Communications major with a concentration in advertising and a minor in marketing. I will not actually graduate until december 01.. well actually maybe may 02 if JSU doesn't go ahead an offer this one little stinky class either this summer or next fall..since I can not take it in the spring (it's offered at the same time as another class that I need). My health, physically and mentally is excellent. I do not have a man so there's nothing to report in that area (might be why my mental health is so well!) I have not been working since my little incident at work a while ago (thanks for all of the prayers) I am extremely EXCITED because I will be going on on the 15th.. I have not seen my mother or father or ANYONE in my family since the 4th of July so I am OVERJOYED!! I already have my plane ticket NOTHING BUT GOD ALMIGHTY CAN STOP ME FROM GETTING ON THAT PLANE!! Good luck on you final exams and presentations to my fellow college students and to those that are working KEEP THE FAITH and work hard.. have a pleasant and blessed holiday seasoneveryone!!!
